What’s been happening in the nursery Working at AusBroms keeps us busy, we love the buzzing energy of newness that is infused in the space! In the past few weeks we’ve been working on bringing in thousands of new quality broms while Bob and True kept supporting us by answering to all of our questions, giving us guidance and invaluable advice. We are really grateful to have access to such a wealth of knowledge and experience and appreciate this moment of transition between what we have taken over and what we are creating.

Our epic nursery team has been working on beautifying the land to prepare it for the public, so that when you come brom hunting, you’ll be surrounded by astonishing views! We also started to “get amongst it” by attending the Bromeliads Society of Queensland Spring Show last weekend in Bray Park, to get another view of this world and to meet other bromeliad fans.

Our team has also been caring for our Alcantarea Faery Dust, making them ready for a big order that was sent off just moments ago. As our General Manager Johnny said “Done and dusted. Faery dusted”!

What’s next

We’ve been working full steam on our new website and we’re looking forward to bringing it to you next week! Shout out to our AusBromer Michael for photographing and uploading hundreds of fantastic brom shots to our new online shop! The idea of a new website with the functionality of an online shop came from the desire to improve and bring efficiency to our sales process. We hope you’ll appreciate and have fun scrolling through our virtual nursery! Here’s a little sneak-peak on how it will look!

And to finish off…

…Thank you so much to our lovely customers for shopping with us and for helping in continuing the legacy of this stunning nursery! YOU ROCK!

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognise the continuing connection to lands, waters, skies and communities. We pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
